Life…let’s live it.

“What is life? We are born, we live a little and we die.”

That’s kind of a big quote from ‘Charlottes Web’. But…I hate that quote. It’s kind of a scary thought to think that I’m born, I live a little and then I die. But an even scarier thought is that some people actually do. They live a little. I know so many people who have gone through life living a little, and then they died. Sounds so exciting doesn’t it? Not! Who would want to go through life but not truly be alive? I know lots of people who do. They walk around and do their things without passion, without goals, without excitement, without love, without purpose, without laughter, without actual life.  It’s almost as though they cease to exist.

                               <{Haha, I’m such a quote nerd!}>

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who come alive.” -Howard Thurman

My passion is to live life to the fullest.  What’s there to lose? Who wants to live but not be alive?  Oh, but I also know people who have been so caught up in life that they failed to realize what life is really all about. They were so focused on wanted to make a big impact,  and for their life to be extreme, that they failed to really live.

“One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.”

It would be pretty sad to stand before God on that final day, and watch your life before your eyes and realize everything you could have done to fulfill the true purpose of life. Even if it was just a simple thing that maybe could have made the world of difference in someone’s life. Like being a helpful hand, saying a small, kind word to someone, laughing with a friend, a hug or smile to brighten someone’s day, or maybe a time when you could have made a huge impact on a child…but you had failed to see that that’s what life really was. Some people are like that. Always looking for the “BIG” ways to make that difference.

“The beauty of life, is that you don’t have to be modernly beautiful to live it.”

Life lived right is such a beautiful thing.
