Is he in awe of me?

             

Ok, if ya know me, you know I love fall so much! All the different smells, the crisp clean air, all the leaves changing, all the different colors everywhere! Wow…Minnesota falls just amaze me! I love the burnt-oranges, sunny-yellows, browns, all the shades of greens, and the dusty-reds all over. I love how the air smells so good and crisp. I love looking out into my woods and seeing the sun’s golden rays shining and reflecting off the leaves. I love taking walks through the woods and seeing the hundreds of different colored leaves lining the f0rest fl00r. I l0ve It and all just makes me smile. As I was watching all my lovely little favorite fall things, (and eating a piece of apple pie my sister made, (gosh, she’s an amazing pie maker!!! When I get rich I’m going to hire her to cook pies for me Haha)  I was just trying to fathom how God could create something so beautiful; just that first step I take into the woods is stunning. So I’m sitting here eating pie, thinking about this, when all of a sudden, Bethany Dillon comes on the radio. I was listening to the lyrics, “I wanna be beautiful, make you stand in awe, look inside my heart and be amazed. I want to hear you say who I am in quit enough, just wanna be worthy of love…and beautiful. You make me beautiful, you make me stand in awe, you step inside my heart and I am amazed…you make me beautiful…” and I was thinking, when God stands at my heart and I let him in, when he takes that first step, what does he see? Is he in awe at the beauty of my heart contents? Is it breathe-taking to him? For some reason…I just don’t think so. I’m human; I mess up…all the time actually. I know God forgives me, but still…to have God be AMAZED at MY heart almost seams impossible. But his unchanging love will always be there no matter what. He’s never changing, always loving, always ready to help us, always wanting to help us…He is truly so amazing…isn’t he?
